He has successfully represented clients in many jurisdictions, collecting over $40 million dollars on their behalf. He has tried numerous jury trials and obtained verdicts over 10 times the amount originally offered by insurance companies. Additionally, Stephen has authored and taught continuing education courses to other attorneys along the Gulf Coast. Alongside his role as an injury attorney, Stephen also serves as the Director of Legal Operations, managing the firm\s day-to-day operations. Originally from Marietta, Georgia, Stephen received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Auburn University and his Juris Doctorate from Faulkner University’s Thomas Goode Jones School of Law. During law school, Stephen was on the Dean’s list and received the CALI award for his scholarship work in intellectual property law. He also worked as a judicial clerk for the Honorable William A. Shashy. Stephen is admitted to all courts in Alabama, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Alabama and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Alabama. He also handles a large caseload with the Social Security Administration, Office of Disability Adjudication Review. Stephen joined Greene & Phillips at the beginning of 2011, where his practice primarily focuses on personal injury and disability law.
