Her journey in the legal field began when she won her first trial in 4th grade at Woodway Elementary in Fort Worth, Texas. Since then, her goal has been to zealously represent people and ensure that their rights are upheld. During her high school years in Carrollton, Texas, Stacy interned for the City Lawyer\s Office of Carrollton, gaining valuable experience in the legal profession. She then went on to attend Stephen F. Austin State University (SFASU), where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Sign Language Interpreting. While at SFASU, Stacy used sign language to assist individuals on campus with disabilities. After completing her undergraduate studies, Stacy pursued her Juris Doctorate degree at the University of Tulsa College of Law. During her time there, she worked as a Judicial Intern for Probate Court in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she conducted legal research and attended various Probate and Adoption proceedings. Following law school, Stacy returned to Texas and began working in private practice. She has been appointed by the Probate and Family law courts as a guardian ad litem and an attorney ad litem. Additionally, she has worked for the Texas Department of Family Protective Services, gaining valuable insight into the inner workings of the organization. Stacy has successfully handled numerous bench trials and jury trials to verdict. Throughout her career, Stacy has worked and lived in various parts of Texas, including Houston, the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, and the South and West regions of the state.
