Simon has more than twenty-six years of continuous experience, exclusively in law offices and departments specializing in intellectual property law and, in particular, patent law (advisory, prosecution & litigation). Since June 2018, he is Partner in charge of the Patent law activity of DWF (France), in partnership with patent engineers, experts in innovation and specialized counsel in France and abroad.
From December 2008 to June 2013, he was a Partner and Head of the Intellectual Property department of Taylor Wessing (France) where he was involved in the management and growth of the team. Prior to that, from March 1999 to November 2008, Simon was a Senior lawyer in the IP/IT department of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) responsible for the Patent & Design group.
Simon holds a Doctorate in International Intellectual Property Law and his professional seniority and technical know-how allow him to assist both SME/SMIs and big corporate groups in complex technological procedures involving French national and European/EU Utility and Design Patents, notably in an international context.
