Lawyer Scott D. Lane is the managing partner of Lane & Lane, LLC, a well-known Chicago personal injury law office. After graduating Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts from Southern Methodist University, Mr. Lane went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University of Chicago School of Law in 1988.

In 2002, Lawyer Lane was recognized as a 40 Under 40 Lawyer to Watch in Illinois. He is a regular selection for Illinois Super Lawyer by Law & Politics and Chicago Magazine. Additionally, in 2014, he became a member of The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100. Lawyer Lane is also the co-director and primary instructor of the Illinois State Bar Association Trial Technique Institute and an adjunct professor at Loyola University of Chicago School of Law. He frequently lectures at civil litigation bar association seminars and coaches Loyola’s Trial Team.

When he is not in the courtroom or meeting with clients, Mr. Lane enjoys spending time with his wife of over twenty-five years, Nancy, and their two adult children.
