Graduating from Jesuit High School in 1977, Mr. Anton went on to earn a Bachelor\s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida in 1981, majoring in Economics and Accounting. He then pursued his Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Florida College of Law in 1984. With 29 years of legal practice under his belt, S. David Anton is an active member of the Florida Bar Association and the Hillsborough County Bar Association. He is involved in various sections of these associations, including Family Law, Securities Law, and Elder Law. Additionally, he is a member of PIABA (Public Investors Bar Association), a national association of attorneys representing public customers in disputes with the securities industry. Mr. Anton has extensive experience as a Certified Family Law Mediator and has served as a Keynote Speaker at numerous seminars on Family Law, Securities Arbitration, Elder Law, and Collaborative Law. He is also the President and CEO of Cigar City Investment Company, which has been investing in real estate in the Tampa Bay area since 1985. Active in the community, Mr. Anton is a member of the Ybor City Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Schaarai Zedek Synagogue Board of Directors. He has held various positions within the Jewish community and the Hillsborough County Historical Society.
