In 1970, Robert Nutter joined the State Lawyer\s Office as an assistant State Lawyer in Hillsborough County. His dedication and expertise led him to be appointed as the Chief Assistant State Lawyer in 1973, where he focused on prosecuting drug importation cases in the State of Florida. He presented these cases to the First Statewide Grand Jury for prosecution, showcasing his commitment to upholding justice.
