Growing up in a military family, Riley moved around to various locations, including North Carolina and Germany, before settling in Washington. She obtained her B.B.A. from Pacific Lutheran University and went on to attend Seattle University School of Law, graduating cum laude in 2019. During her time in law school, Riley received the Outstanding Recognition Award for her extensive pro bono work with civil rights, immigration, and juvenile law organizations. She also earned a CALI Excellence for the Future Award and was selected as the QLAW Foundation Sher Kung Fellow. As a mother of two young children, Riley is passionate about protecting the rights of children and families.
