About
Rachel Benedict is an experienced Immigration Lawyer in Cambridge, Massachusetts with a sturdy passion for serving immigrant communities and a dedication to offering prison assistance to those in want. My hobby in immigration law stems from my circle of relatives’s history, as well as the year I spent working as an immigration paralegal for immigrant victims of domestic violence in New York. I even have over 4 years of experience as an Immigration Lawyer, and have won information in numerous one of a kind realms of immigration regulation. I talk English as a primary language and Spanish at a professionally proficient stage. I learned Spanish after taking part in extensive Spanish-immersion applications—one in Queztaltenango, Guatemala, and the opposite in Arequipa, Peru. Service to the community is essential to me. In August 2015 I become a part of a crew of volunteers from the New England Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyer’s Association who traveled to Dilley, Texas to represent immigrant women and children detained on the South Texas Family Residential Center. I additionally often volunteer at the Mayor’s Office for Immigrant Advancement Immigration Clinic. When I am now not training law, I want to run, bake, and garden.
