After serving in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps as a prosecutor, Mr. Byron returned to Central Florida and worked as an Assistant U.S. Lawyer in the Middle District of Florida for 10 years. During this time, he specialized in prosecuting complex white-collar crimes, including international money laundering. He also gained experience in medical malpractice defense and affirmative civil litigation. In 2001, Mr. Byron was selected to serve on the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in The Hague, Netherlands. Here, he prosecuted senior political and military officials in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, and Croatia for war crimes. Mr. Byron also represented the United States in various international bodies, showcasing his expertise on a global scale. Currently, Mr. Byron focuses on toxic torts, personal injury, and product liability cases involving serious injuries, such as Carbon Monoxide poisoning. He handles Carbon Monoxide Poisoning cases across the United States, with active litigation in Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, Colorado, Minnesota, Virginia, Utah, Oklahoma, and New Mexico. With a track record of approximately 100 cases tried to conclusion and 18 cases argued before the United States Eleventh Circuit, Florida’s Fifth District Court of Appeal, and Florida’s First District Court of Appeal, Mr. Byron is a seasoned litigator with a strong commitment to justice.
