Parks Dance, a native of Memphis, Tennessee, grew up with his family and graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2020 with a degree in business administration. During his time in college, Parks interned at The Lanzon Firm, where he discovered his passion for criminal law. This experience led him to pursue a career in law, and he went on to attend Loyola University in New Orleans for law school. While in law school, Parks gained valuable experience working for the Orleans Parish District Lawyer’s Office, participating in the Stuart H. Smith Law Clinic and Center for Social Justice, and completing an externship with Knox County Senior Criminal Court Judge Steven W. Sword. After graduating in 2023 and passing the bar exam, Parks joined The Lanzon Firm as a criminal defense attorney. In addition to his legal career, Parks is a devoted son, brother, and friend. He enjoys spending time with his family, wrestling with his dog Tee, fishing with his grandfather, Bill Dance, exploring the Smoky Mountains, and cheering on the Vols. Parks is also a practicing Catholic and attends Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in downtown Knoxville. With a deep-seated passion for helping others, Parks is committed to using his skills and knowledge to assist individuals during challenging times. He approaches each case with empathy and determination, striving to find the best possible outcome for his clients and fight for justice.
