Parker MacKay, a Buffalo native, is a highly qualified lawyer with a strong background in criminal law and federal court experience. Born and raised in the Buffalo area, Parker MacKay is a proud graduate of Canisius High School. He then went on to attend S.U.N.Y. Buffalo, where he excelled academically and graduated cum laude with "With High Distinction" in the psychology department. After taking some time off, Parker MacKay pursued his passion for law by attending S.U.N.Y. Buffalo Law School. He graduated magna cum laude on an accelerated track, showcasing his dedication and commitment to his studies. During his time in law school, Parker participated in various moot court competitions, including representing his school in a national criminal law moot court competition. In addition to his academic achievements, Parker MacKay gained valuable experience through internships. He interned with the Hon. Timothy J. Drury of the New York State Supreme Court and completed a practice-intensive internship in the felony division of the San Diego County Public Defender’s office. During his internship, he had the opportunity to make numerous court appearances, including actively second-chairing a first-degree murder/cross-border kidnapping jury trial. After law school, Parker MacKay continued to build his legal career by working as a law clerk for the Federal Public Defender’s office in Buffalo. He then went on to serve as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Kathleen M. Tafoya in the United States District Court for the District of Colorado, gaining valuable federal court experience.
