Mitchell K. Wyatt is a highly experienced lawyer in Anchorage, Alaska with a diverse background in law and military service. Mr. Wyatt has been practicing law since 1992, bringing almost thirty years of legal experience to his clients. After graduating from high school, he served in the U.S. Navy as an electronics technician on nuclear submarines and as an electronics instructor for six years. Following his military service, Mr. Wyatt worked as a field engineer and technical writer before returning to college at Brigham Young University (BYU), where he majored in Business Management and graduated Cum Laude. He then went on to attend law school at BYU and later re-entered the Navy as a Navy JAG officer, serving as a prosecutor in drug and child sex abuse cases. After leaving the Navy, Mr. Wyatt practiced law in Texas before moving to Alaska in 2003. In Alaska, he was appointed as an Assistant Lawyer General working in the Child in Need of Aid section, where he focused on protecting children from abusive and dangerous situations. In May 2007, he re-entered private practice, specializing in family law with a focus on fathers' and grandparents' rights. After the loss of both of his parents, Mr. Wyatt transitioned his practice to estate planning, helping clients protect their financial legacy.
