About
Mitchell Allan Harlan, a lawyer based in North Little Rock, Arkansas, shares his journey and passion for civil rights and justice. Mitchell Allan Harlan, Lawyer in North Little Rock, Arkansas Mitchell Allan Harlan's approach to law is deeply rooted in his personal experiences and the struggles he has witnessed. Despite initially being a college dropout, he was driven to become a lawyer after being moved by the injustices he saw in the world around him. During his time at the University of Arkansas, Little Rock, Harlan worked at a group home for men with mental disabilities. This experience taught him that the only thing separating him from the residents was societal approval of his quirks over theirs. These individuals became some of his favorite people, inspiring him to advocate for those who are often marginalized or overlooked by society. His passion for civil rights was further ignited during his studies at William H. Bowen School of Law. While the core subjects covered a wide range of legal topics, Harlan's electives consistently focused on themes of discrimination. This academic journey, combined with his professional experiences, fueled his desire to bring about meaningful change and hold systems accountable for their actions. After law school, Harlan became an attorney for Disability Rights Arkansas, a non-profit organization that offers free legal assistance to individuals with disabilities. This role exposed him to the challenges faced by those who are often neglected by larger systems, reinforcing his commitment to fighting for justice. Today, as the owner of Harlan Law Office, Mitchell Allan Harlan continues to advocate for his clients facing various legal issues, including criminal charges, divorce, and wage garnishment. He is dedicated to providing support and guidance to those in need, ensuring that everyone has access to fair and just legal representation.
