With a successful career as an Assistant State Lawyer in the Sixth Judicial Circuit in New Port Richey, Florida, Mike made the transition to private practice with BCPP. Mike's extensive experience in various areas of criminal law enables him to build strong cases through thorough research and investigative skills. His attention to detail, coupled with his background as a state attorney, provides his clients with the advantage of having an attorney who understands both sides of the courtroom argument. Before joining the State Lawyer's Office, Mike worked as an Associate Lawyer at Sponslor, Bennett, Jacobs, and Crystal PA, where he defended insurance providers in worker's compensation cases. A graduate of Stetson Law School in 2003, Mike graduated Cum Laude and received the prestigious Victor O. Wehle Trial Advocacy Award. He was also a member of the esteemed Stetson University Mock Trial Team. During his internships, Mike served as a Florida State Supreme Court Clerk, where he reviewed writs, issued advisory determinations on jurisdictions, and assisted the Court in drafting legal opinions.
