For more than twenty-five years, attorney Mark A. Brown has been a dedicated litigator at Lane & Lane, LLC, a respected personal injury law office in Chicago. Throughout his legal career, he has focused on helping individuals and families who have been injured, harmed, or abused by others. Lawyer Brown pursued his education at the University of Illinois — Champaign-Urbana, majoring in Economics and minoring in Business. He graduated in 1989 and later attended the Kent College of Law at the Illinois Institute of Technology, earning his degree in 1993. In 2002, Lawyer Brown joined Lane & Lane, LLC, after initially practicing as a plaintiff’s civil litigation lawyer. His practice focused on complex personal injury claims, sexual abuse cases, and medical malpractice in both state and federal courts. Throughout his career, Lawyer Brown has argued a medical malpractice case before the Illinois Supreme Court at the age of 34. He has also prepared numerous Appellate briefs, participated in jury trials, and mediations involving serious personal injury and medical malpractice cases. From 2010 to 2018, Lawyer Brown was recognized as an Illinois SuperLawyer in the field of personal injury, an honor bestowed upon only five percent of personal injury lawyers. He has also been named one of the 40 Under 40 Lawyers to Watch in Illinois and recognized as one of America’s Most Honored Professionals. In addition to his legal work, Mr. Brown has provided commentary on civil claims for sexual assault and abuse to various media outlets, including PBS, Chicago Tonight, and the Daily Herald newspaper. Outside of his legal practice, Lawyer Brown enjoys playing guitar for his wife and three sons. He also serves as the executive Vice President of the Chicago business association, Executives Guild Ltd.
