Marc E. Gustafson is a distinguished lawyer with a wealth of experience in the legal field. He attended The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was a North Carolina Teaching Fellow and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, Political Science, and Secondary Education in 1997. Following this, he obtained his law degree from Indiana University in 2001.

After graduating from law school, Mr. Gustafson joined the prestigious law office of Alston & Bird, LLP in Atlanta, Georgia. During his time at Alston & Bird, he was a member of the Securities Litigation Group, specializing in litigating class actions involving claims of securities fraud and commercial disputes between businesses. He also represented officers and directors in legal matters.

In 2005, Mr. Gustafson returned to his hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina and joined Kennedy, Covington, Lobdell & Hickman, LLP (now K&L Gates). There, he focused on financial services litigation, public company board representation, and credit and lending disputes. His expertise in these areas made him a valuable asset to the firm.

Mr. Gustafson was later recruited to join the legal team of LendingTree, LLC in Charlotte, NC. In this role, he managed the company's litigation portfolio, oversaw mergers and acquisitions activities, and negotiated contracts on behalf of LendingTree. His strong legal background and negotiation skills were instrumental in the success of the company.

Marc Gustafson is licensed to practice law in both North Carolina and Georgia, and he is admitted to several courts in both states. In addition to his legal career, he has been actively involved in the Charlotte community. He was elected to the University of North Carolina Board of Visitors and served as the chairperson of the UNC Young Alumni Club.
