My passion for Family Law originates from a deep desire to assist families in confidently navigating the legal system and securing the best possible outcomes for themselves and their children. Throughout my legal education, I was captivated by the intricacies and subtleties of Family Law cases, leading me to focus my career in this area. Before embarking on my legal career, I spent six years as a teacher, honing my communication skills and acquiring the ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to clients in a clear and understandable manner. My background in education has equipped me well for a career in Family Law, as I am accustomed to working with families and children in high-pressure situations. Having experienced a contentious divorce as a child, I firsthand understand the emotional impact that Family Law disputes can have on children and families. Additionally, growing up with brothers on the autism spectrum has instilled in me a deep understanding of the importance of empathy in navigating complex family dynamics and accommodating individuals with disabilities. I prioritize resolving disputes outside of the courtroom whenever feasible. Amicable resolutions achieved through mediation or negotiation often serve the best interests of all parties involved and can help reduce the emotional and financial burdens of legal proceedings. However, I acknowledge that avoiding litigation is not always possible.
