Costs
  • Free Consultancy Service
I do not offer free consultations, because I usually spend a lot of time with my clients and provide information and advice. However, I can be tempted to provide quick (free) information (not advice) when sent an e-mail.
  • Payment With Credit Card
We only accept online payment of credit cards at sharinglaw.net/payments
  • Retaines and Rates
I provide a modest flat fee for an initial consultation, on a sliding scale: initial long-term care consultation for individuals with $100,000 or less or couples with $200,000 or less (not counting house/car), $395 for 1-2 hours, for those with more, $695. For less comprehensive consultations the fee is $375. Hourly rates $375/hour, staff fees are less. Probate work often involves staff who are typically billed at $150-200/hour. These are 2022 rates. To prepare estate planning documents, in addition to the $375 consultation fee, we usually, although not always, set a flat fee, which would START a $750.
