About
Leona Krasner, a lawyer based in New York, has dedicated her legal career to litigation and family law, making a real difference in the lives of her clients. A Brooklyn native, Leona Krasner studied Politics and Psychology at the College of Arts and Sciences at New York University, graduating cum laude. She then went on to earn her Juris Doctorate at Washington Lee University School of Law, followed by a Master’s of Business Administration from the Stern School of Business at New York University. Throughout her legal career, Leona has focused on litigation. She previously served as an Assistant Lawyer General of New York, representing the state and state employees, including those from the New York State Department of Corrections and New York State Park Police. She also worked as a Litigation Consultant for international law offices, assisting with complex international finance, securities regulation, antitrust, and regulatory cases. Driven by her passion for helping families, Leona decided to launch her own family law office. She works closely with clients to prepare prenuptial agreements, handle divorces, assist with child-related matters such as custody, visitation, child support, and paternity, and litigate or settle restraining order cases. In addition to her legal practice, Leona is actively involved in various bar associations. She serves as the Chair of Communications for the Women In Law Section of the New York State Bar Association, sits on the Executive Committee of the Young Lawyer’s Section, and is a member of the Events Committee of the New York Women’s Bar Association. She is also a member of the New York City Bar Association and the New Jersey State Bar Association. Outside of her legal work, Leona enjoys tutoring students through her company, Krasner Review, LLC, organizing concerts for children through her nonprofit organization Tunes for Tots & Teens, and going on adventures with her husband, Michael.
