Laurence S. Moy is a Deputy Managing Partner with extensive experience in representing individuals in employment matters. He co-chairs the firm’s Financial Services Industry Practice Group and is skilled in arbitration, negotiation, and litigation.

Laurence S. Moy has been practicing law almost exclusively in the area of representing individuals in employment matters since 1985. As Deputy Managing Partner, he brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his clients. Mr. Moy co-chairs the firm’s Financial Services Industry Practice Group, where he enjoys representing clients and groups of clients in highly specialized fields by counseling them, as well as negotiating and litigating on their behalf.

Mr. Moy has a strong background in arbitration, having appeared before FINRA, the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”), and JAMS. He also has experience in trials, appeals, and other litigation before federal and state courts, particularly in employment and general commercial litigation disputes. In addition to litigation, Mr. Moy actively handles transactional and negotiation matters, successfully mediating and negotiating employment contracts, compensation guarantees, severance agreements, and other exit arrangements for executives and professionals.

A significant portion of Mr. Moy\s practice is dedicated to counseling and advising clients on various workplace issues. His work often helps clients navigate difficult situations in the workplace, ultimately avoiding the need for costly litigation in the future.
