Kevin Erin Kelly is a highly experienced criminal defense lawyer in Carmel, Indiana, with a long history of working in the criminal justice system. My name is Kevin Kelly, and I am a lawyer specializing in criminal law. Throughout my career, I have dedicated myself to helping individuals who are facing legal issues within the criminal justice system. With my extensive experience and knowledge, I aim to guide and support those in need during these challenging times. I am a proud resident of Fishers, Indiana, where I have lived my entire life. I completed my high school education at Hamilton Southeastern High School before pursuing my undergraduate degree at Indiana University. Following my college years, I spent time coaching football, wrestling, and track at Speedway Jr. & Sr. High School. Subsequently, I attended Valparaiso University Law School and graduated in 1997. Upon graduating, I began my career at the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office in Indianapolis. Over the course of twenty-one years, I handled a diverse range of cases, from misdemeanors to murder. Starting in the Misdemeanor Division, I later transitioned to Major Felony Drug enforcement and eventually advanced to the Homicide Division. I also served as a Supervisor in the Major Felony Division, overseeing the training of Deputy Prosecutors and collaborating with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Homicide School. In 2018, I joined the Hancock County Prosecutor’s office as a Major Felony Prosecutor in Greenfield. After nearly four years in this role, I reunited with Eric Blankenship, a former colleague from Marion County, and decided to join him in private practice. Throughout my career, I have conducted over one hundred major felony jury and court trials, gaining extensive experience in various criminal cases. I am committed to utilizing my nearly quarter-century of expertise in criminal law to assist you in navigating the legal process and ensuring that your rights are protected.
