About

Kalpin Shah\s career has been dedicated to providing the best legal representation possible. From his experience as an Assistant Solicitor to his work as an indigent defense counsel, Kalpin has honed his skills to fight for the rights of the criminally accused and provide justice to the wrongfully injured. Kalpin Shah\s journey in the legal field began as an Assistant Solicitor, where he handled misdemeanor cases and learned the intricacies of the prosecution process. Through his dedication and hard work, Kalpin earned the respect of judges, prosecutors, and court administrators. In his very first case, he achieved a dismissal on all charges, setting the tone for his future successes. As an indigent defense counsel in Clayton County, Kalpin passionately advocated for each individual he represented. In a challenging DUI case, he conducted a complex three-day jury trial that required the prosecution to bring in an expert officer mid-trial. Kalpin excelled in bench trials, motions, bond modifications, and daily inmate arraignments, becoming an expert in the Ga. Evidence code. Prior to his work as a defense counsel, Kalpin sharpened his trial skills at the DeKalb D.A.\s office, presenting officer witnesses at numerous probable-cause hearings. He also gained valuable experience as a clerk for a Superior Court Judge in Fulton County, conducting thorough research on criminal and civil law issues. Having experienced the legal system from multiple perspectives, Kalpin recognized the importance of defending the rights of the accused and seeking justice for the wrongfully injured. In 2016, he founded Kalpin Shah Law to serve the people in times of trials and adversity.
