About
John Bradley Buckhalter has nearly a decade of experience as a general counsel in the petroleum distribution industry. He now focuses on business, commercial, and transactional law at GTH, supporting clients with their legal needs and helping them mitigate risks, structure contracts, and build successful enterprises. For almost ten years, Brad served as the general counsel for Tacoma-based Associated Petroleum Products, Inc. During this time, he provided valuable advice to directors, owners, and senior managers in the petroleum distribution industry. His responsibilities included structuring, drafting, and negotiating corporate and commercial transactions, as well as managing business initiatives, risk, and litigation. Even after Associated Petroleum was acquired by Fortune 500 company World Fuel Services, Inc., Brad continued to support both companies as senior counsel. He then joined GTH, where he now focuses on business, commercial, and transactional law. Brad assists clients with their day-to-day and long-term legal needs, helping them identify and mitigate risks, structure favorable contracts and transactions, and build successful enterprises. One of the aspects Brad enjoys most about working at GTH is the opportunity to collaborate with experienced and engaging colleagues. He values the learning environment where he can acquire new knowledge every day.
