With ten years of experience representing the indigent accused, James honed his trial skills in a busy criminal practice environment. After his time as a public defender, James transitioned to civil law, where he has been advocating for injured clients for almost a decade. While most cases settle before trial, James has the courtroom experience that matters when it counts. In his spare time, James enjoys exploring the Oregon wilderness with his family. He is also an avid fan of sports car racing and a licensed race driver. James volunteers as a Safety Marshall and High-Performance Driving Instructor at Portland International Raceway and has served as the Past President of Cascade Sports Car Club, the oldest amateur road racing organization in the Pacific Northwest.
