After joining the Suffolk County Lawyer\s Office, he was elected to the Suffolk County Legislature, where he served two terms as the representative for the Lindenhurst and Babylon areas. Despite being the youngest member of the Legislature at the age of 26, Mr. Glass was appointed as the leader of the majority caucus. In 1987, Mr. Glass became the managing partner at Glass, Lazio & Glass, a firm that later became Glass & Glass in 1992 when Rick Lazio was elected to the United States House of Representatives. In 2018, Gerard Glass & Associates was established, with Mr. Glass leading the firm as the managing partner.
