Forrest Heyman is a locally-raised attorney with an international perspective, specializing in business planning, corporate transactions, real estate, and estate planning and administration. Forrest J. Heyman, a skilled lawyer based in Champaign, Illinois, joined the firm as a summer associate in 2011 and later became an associate attorney upon his admission to the Illinois Bar in 2012. With a diverse range of expertise, his areas of practice include business planning, corporate transactions, real estate, and estate planning and administration. Originally from Paxton, Illinois, Forrest attended Butler University from 2005 to 2008, where he graduated with a bachelor of science in economics with honors. His international experience includes a semester in Hong Kong, where he was recognized as the Sigma Nu National Man of the Year. Following his time in Hong Kong, Forrest worked at The Boeing Company in Seattle, Washington, gaining valuable experience in procurement, accounting, finance, and human resources. In 2009, Forrest returned to Illinois to pursue his legal education at the University of Illinois College of Law. During his time there, he interned with Judge Jeffrey Sherlock of Montana’s First Judicial District Court in Helena. He also served as a teaching assistant for Legal Writing and Analysis and later became an associate editor of the Elder Law Journal. Forrest gained practical courtroom experience representing divorce clients and tenants through the Civil Litigation Clinic and Community Preservation Clinic. A member of the Illinois State Bar Association and Champaign County Bar Association, Forrest is dedicated to serving his community. He currently resides in Savoy with his wife, Laura.
