Growing up in Hardin and Meade Counties as an Army brat, I learned the values of discipline, hard work, and service to others from a young age. After graduating from Transylvania University in 1994, I began my journey in the legal field at Bunch & Brock Law Office. It was during this time that I discovered my passion for helping people navigate through their legal issues and seek the justice they deserve. This realization led me to pursue a career in law. I attended the University of Kentucky College of Law and graduated in 1997. Following graduation, I worked as a prosecutor at the Fayette County Commonwealth\s Lawyer\s Office, where I gained valuable experience in criminal law. In 1999, I joined the United States Lawyer\s Office for the Western District of Kentucky as an Assistant United States Lawyer, focusing on prosecuting federal offenses. In addition to my legal career, I also serve in the United States Army Reserve Judge Advocate General\s Corp (JAG) as an attorney, where I hold the rank of Major. This experience has allowed me to develop a diverse skill set and handle a wide range of legal matters. Throughout my career, I have held various positions in government agencies, including the Kentucky Office of Homeland Security and the Kentucky Environmental & Public Protection Cabinet. In 2004, I was appointed as the Cabinet Secretary for the Personnel Cabinet for the Commonwealth of Kentucky, showcasing my leadership and administrative skills. In 2006, I transitioned to private practice and joined Frost Brown Todd in Louisville, where I worked for four years before establishing my own law office in 2010.
