Subsequently, he pursued his passion for law by enrolling in the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico Law School in San Juan, where he graduated Cum Laude with a Juris Doctor in May 2005. He was admitted to the Puerto Rico Bar Association in September 2005, marking the beginning of his successful legal career.

Enrique started his legal journey with the “Sociedad para la Asisitencia Legal,” a non-profit organization similar to the State Public Defender's office. Here, he represented indigent clients in misdemeanor and felony cases, conducted investigations, and presented legal arguments in various courts in Puerto Rico.
