About
Edrie A Pfeiffer has been helping individuals find a fresh start through bankruptcy and divorce for nearly two decades. With a background in law and a passion for assisting those in need, she has dedicated her career to providing legal support to those facing financial and personal challenges. I have been practicing law for almost 20 years, specializing in bankruptcy and divorce cases. My journey into this field began during my time in law school when I had the opportunity to work for a bankruptcy attorney. One of my first cases involved a couple whose daughter was battling a brain tumor, resulting in overwhelming medical bills. Through bankruptcy, they were able to find relief from the financial burden and focus on their daughter's recovery. Another impactful case was that of a young mother who found herself in significant debt after her partner abandoned her with a baby and a car loan in her name. Bankruptcy was her only option to regain financial stability and provide for her child. These experiences opened my eyes to the power of bankruptcy as a tool for individuals to start anew in the face of adversity. I am a proud graduate of Regent University School of Law and hold an advanced law degree from Georgetown University. As a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Lawyers and the Tidewater Bankruptcy Bar Association, I stay current on the latest legal developments in my field. I have authored two books on bankruptcy and have mentored law student interns in this practice area. Outside of my legal work, I am actively involved in my community. My husband and I are dedicated members of Virginia Beach United Methodist Church, where we contribute to various outreach programs. I also volunteer with Stand Up For Kids, an organization that supports homeless and at-risk youth in our area. Every day, I am honored to assist my clients in navigating the complexities of bankruptcy and divorce, guiding them towards a brighter future. Through my expertise and dedication, I strive to make a positive impact on the lives of those facing challenging circumstances.
