His experience led him to Washington, D.C., where he served as a legal liaison for the Ambassador of Ecuador, handling various legal matters and international lawsuits. Despite receiving offers from prestigious law offices, Doug chose to accept a prosecutor position in North Texas. Over the next 5 years, he prosecuted cases in Denton and Dallas Counties, gaining valuable experience and honing his skills as a trial lawyer. His aggressive and successful approach in the courtroom set him apart, and after defeating a highly successful lawyer, Doug was invited to office-share with him. In January 2000, The Wilder Law Office was founded, marking a new chapter in Doug\s career as a dedicated lawyer in Plano, Texas. With a strong work ethic, a passion for justice, and a commitment to his clients, Doug continues to fight for what is right and uphold the principles that have guided him throughout his journey.
