Associate Lawyer Diamond Alexander completed her undergraduate studies at The University of Mississippi in 2017, where she pursued a double major in Criminal Justice and History. After taking a year off to get married, travel, relocate to Atlanta, and apply to law school, she enrolled at Emory University School of Law. During her time at Emory, she also served as a family law teaching assistant from 2019 to 2021, graduating in 2021 and subsequently becoming a member of the Georgia Bar in 2022. Throughout her academic journey, Diamond received numerous accolades and was actively involved in various prestigious organizations, including the Horatio Alger National Scholar program, where she has a lifetime affiliation since 2014. She was recognized as an Outstanding Criminal Justice Student in 2015 and was a member of the Alpha Phi Sigma Criminal Justice Honor Society, Mu Rho Chapter. Additionally, she was named a Kessler-Family Scholar in Spring 2019 and served as the President of the Emory Black Law Students Association from 2020 to 2021. Diamond also participated in the Emory Moot Court Society and held the position of Director of Sub-Region 1 in the Southern Region of the National Black Law Students Association from 2020 to 2021. She was honored as the 2020 Rowland Barnes Memorial Scholar. In terms of legal experience, Diamond has worked in various areas such as probate, real estate, criminal defense, and corporate litigation. However, since completing law school, she has focused exclusively on practicing family law and estate planning. Beyond her legal career, Diamond, a Michigan native, is a certified pet care professional and the proud owner of Diamond\s Doggy Daycare, LLC. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, engaging in art, cooking, baking, and spending quality time with her husband, Terrence, and their dogs, Jazz and Greer.
