Christina Maria Galarza is a highly experienced lawyer based in Hackensack, New Jersey. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and went on to receive her J.D. from Rutgers Law School in Newark, New Jersey. Christina has a strong background in law and has been actively involved in various legal organizations and initiatives throughout her career. Christina's passion for promoting diversity and unity within the legal community is evident through her involvement as Co-President of the Association of Latin American Law Students during her time in law school. Through this role, she worked to promote Latino culture, heritage, and unity on campus, while also connecting Hispanic attorneys and law students to increase the Latino and minority presence in the legal field. Christina initiated programs to encourage Latin-American students to pursue a career in law and hosted fundraising events to support Hispanic law students in reducing the cost of their legal education. In addition to her work with the Association of Latin American Law Students, Christina was a senior editor of the Computer and Technology Law Journal and a member of the Minority Student Program at Rutgers Law School. She also gained valuable experience in providing legal services to nonprofit corporations and start-up businesses through the Community and Transactional Lawyering Clinic. Christina is a member of the Hispanic Bar Association and the New Jersey State Bar Association, and is admitted to practice law in both New Jersey and New York. Born in Florida to Colombian immigrants, Christina is fluent in Spanish and brings a unique perspective to her legal practice.
