Chelsi R. Hall, Esq. is a native of Houston, Texas, where she was born and raised. Growing up in Houston\s Independence Heights, she attended Booker T. Washington High School for Engineering Professions, graduating at the top of her class. Throughout her high school years, she actively participated in community service initiatives and was a member of the Baby Ocean of Soul.
After high school, Chelsi pursued her higher education at Sam Houston State University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor\s degree in Communication Studies in just three years. As a student in the Elliot T. Bower\s Honors College, she consistently made the Dean\s List and even achieved the highest distinction of President\s List. During her time at SHSU, she held leadership positions in various organizations focused on community service and education, including Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. Chelsi also founded a chapter of the National Society of Leadership and Success on campus, serving as president until her graduation in 2008.
Chelsi continued her education at Thurgood Marshall School of Law, where she graduated Cum Laude and gained valuable experience as a Student Lawyer in the school\s Legal Clinic. Through the clinic, she represented indigent defendants, honing her investigatory skills and trial strategies. Chelsi is deeply committed to ensuring that everyone has access to justice and quality representation, as demonstrated by her work as a public interest intern at Lone Star Legal Aid. In this role, she successfully defended residents against unjust evictions, foreclosures, predatory lending practices, unfair credit practices, and property tax issues.
Currently, Ms. Hall operates a law practice with a primary focus on criminal defense. She works diligently to prevent her clients from facing prison time and criminal convictions. Chelsi is a member in good standing with the State Bar of Texas, a certified mediator for commercial disputes, and licensed to practice before the United States Tax Court.
