Cassandra H. P. Donovan is a highly skilled Lawyer based in Melville, New York. With a strong background in complex civil litigation, she brings a wealth of experience to her practice. She is known for her ability to represent clients in various phases of the litigation process with professionalism and dedication.
Ms. Donovan\s practice currently focuses on a variety of legal areas including business litigation, trusts and estate, family law, civil litigation, and insurance defense. Her extensive background in complex litigation sets her apart in the legal field.
For over a decade, Ms. Donovan defended and managed an extensive caseload on behalf of major corporate clients in the Upstate New York Asbestos Litigation. She has also successfully defended officers and directors of housing cooperatives/corporations in New York Courts and before the New York City Commission on Human Rights.
Before pursuing her law career, Ms. Donovan served as the assistant director of commercial revitalization at a local economic development group. In this role, she implemented public-private initiatives to promote economic development and commercial revitalization in various New York City neighborhoods.
In addition to her legal career, Ms. Donovan has a passion for reading and has also served as a Professional Attaché/Intern at the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland. Her diverse background adds depth to her legal practice.
Ms. Donovan holds a Juris Doctor degree from New York Law School and also received a Master’s degree in Policy Analysis and a Bachelor’s Degree in Comparative Politics from New York University. She began her studies at NYU at the age of 16 as a Trustees Scholar, showcasing her dedication to academic excellence.
