Barone has been a faculty member at numerous seminars focused on family law and has lectured on domestic relations practice for the Rhode Island Bar Association and the National Business Institute. She is also a contributing author to A Practical Guide to Divorce in Rhode Island, First Ed., published by MCLE, Inc. in 2009, specifically on the topic of Business Valuations.

Graduating magna cum laude from Bryant University and cum laude from New England Law/Boston, Barone is authorized to practice law in the State of Rhode Island, including the Federal District Court, and is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court.

Barone holds the position of Treasurer at the Rhode Island Bar Association and has been nominated for the role of President-Elect. She is an active member of the Bar Association\s Executive Committee, serves on the House of Delegates, and sits on the Public Service Committee.

As a long-standing participant in the Rhode Island Bar Association\s Volunteer Lawyers Program, Barone has received both the Pro Bono Publico Award and the Continuing Service Award. She is also a former president of the Edward P. Gallogly Family Court Inn of Court, where she has lectured on all aspects of family law and authored numerous publications on the subject.
