Carla De La Cruz, a native of Puerto Rico, has been practicing family law in the DFW area and surrounding counties since 2017. She recently joined the Bogdanowicz Family Law team in 2020, bringing with her a wealth of experience and a strong dedication to her clients.

Carla\s journey in the legal field began at the University of Puerto Rico, where she completed her undergraduate studies. She then pursued her law degree at the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico School of Law. During her time in law school, Carla interned at the Child Support Offices in the District Court of Ponce, Puerto Rico, gaining valuable experience in family law.

After becoming licensed to practice law in Puerto Rico in 2013, Carla made the move to Texas. To further her understanding of Texas law, she completed the paralegal program at Southern Methodist University and obtained her license to practice law in Texas in 2017.

Carla\s upbringing instilled in her strong family values, emphasizing the importance of putting family first. This foundation guides her approach to family law cases, where she is dedicated to helping her clients navigate through challenging times. Carla\s goal is to help her clients see the bigger picture, even when it may seem unclear.

In addition to her legal practice, Carla is an active member of Lawyers Serving the Community, the Dallas Bar Association, and the Dallas Young Lawyers Association. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her dog Mila, traveling, dancing, and cycling.
