Brian S. Brown, one of the founding partners of the law firm, serves as its Managing Partner. With over thirty years of experience as a trial lawyer, Brian focuses his practice on litigating medical malpractice and nursing home abuse cases. He has successfully tried well over 100 tort cases and has secured multiple multi-million dollar verdicts for his clients. Throughout his career, Brian has recovered more than $175 million through both trial outcomes and settlements.

In addition to his extensive trial experience, Brian also has a strong background in appellate law. He has appeared before the Maryland Court of Appeals twelve times and the Court of Special Appeals more than fifty times. Brian is admitted to practice in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals.

Brian is an active member of the Maryland Association for Justice (MAJ) and the American Association for Justice (AAJ). He has presented on various legal topics at events such as the Inn of Court and HB Litigation Conferences. Brian has also shared his expertise with the entire bench of the Circuit Court of Baltimore City on the evolving law of expert testimony in Maryland.

In recognition of his outstanding contributions to the legal field, Brian was honored as the "Trial Lawyer of the Year" by the MAJ in 2020. This prestigious award is given annually to a trial lawyer or team of trial lawyers who have made significant contributions to the public interest through their work. Brian has also been recognized as a Super Lawyer and is a member of both the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Litigation Counsel of America.
