Arthur Loevy is a highly experienced lawyer in Chicago, Illinois with a long and successful career in labor law and trade unions. Arthur Loevy graduated from the University of Michigan Law School in 1963 and has been a member of the Illinois bar for over forty years. He initially practiced labor law before transitioning to become an elected officer of the Amalgamated Clothing and Textile Workers Union (ACTWU) in 1970. Throughout his career, Arthur has held various elected positions within trade unions, including International Executive Vice President of ACTWU and International Secretary-Treasurer of ACTWU. In addition to his work with trade unions, Arthur Loevy has also served in leadership roles for organizations such as the Amalgamated Bank of New York, Taft-Hartley insurance and trust funds, the Amalgamated Housing Foundation, and the Sidney Hillman Health Center in Chicago.
