Ann Marie Taliaferro is an associate attorney at Brown, Bradshaw & Moffat, where she has been practicing law since 2000. With a focus on criminal defense and criminal appeals, Ann brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her practice. Ann received her Juris Doctorate from the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah, where she was recognized as a William H. Leary Scholar. During her time in law school, Ann served as a staff writer and editor for the Utah Law Review for two years. She was also a member of the National Trial Team and achieved semi-finalist status at the Traynor Moot Court Competition. Prior to joining Brown, Bradshaw & Moffat, Ann gained valuable experience as a law clerk for both the Utah Lawyer General\s Office - Criminal Appeals Division and the United States Lawyer\s Office. She also completed an internship at the Supreme Court of the United States, Office of the Curator. Ann is a member of the Utah State Bar and is licensed to practice before all Utah state and federal courts, as well as the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. She is actively involved in the legal community as a member of the Utah Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, where she has served on the Amicus Committee since 2005 and the UACDL CLE Committee from 2005 to 2008. Since 2007, Ann has been a CJA Appellate Panel Lawyer for the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals and currently serves as a member of the CJA Standing Committee. She is also a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Ann\s dedication and skill have not gone unnoticed, as she was named an Up and Coming Legal Elite by Utah Business Magazine in 2009 and 2010.
