About
Alanna Williams is an experienced lawyer in Fairfax, Virginia with a background in family law and a passion for advocating for her clients. Growing up, Alanna’s parents often heard complaints from her teachers about her talking too much. However, a high school English teacher helped her realize the importance of listening, which ultimately shaped her approach to law. Inspired by the TV show LA Law and her involvement in debate and public speaking, Alanna pursued a career in law, focusing on family law. After graduating from California Western School of Law, Alanna practiced law in San Diego, representing over 400 clients in various legal matters. In 1999, she moved to Northern Virginia to focus on family law issues, seeking to make a positive impact in her community. Joining The Duff Law Office in 2004, she became a principal of the firm, handling all aspects of family law cases. In 2020, Alanna joined Cook Craig and Francuzenko as a Principal, where she continues to advocate for her clients and mentor young associates. With a dedication to finding solutions that work for families, Alanna is committed to seeking justice for her clients in important ways.
